Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is thrilled to announce the opening of our new clinic in Astoria, OR in January 2026! This new site will significantly enhance the health and well-being of our community by expanding our behavioral health services, including mental health therapy, and introducing new dental and pharmacy service lines, including a convenient drive-through pharmacy.

What You’ll Learn:
Set up and record periodontal charting per Provider’s instructions
Maintain patient dental records, updating patient medical history and vital signs as needed
Prepare and set up the instruments and equipment necessary for the patient's treatment
Provide education and counseling on oral hygiene to patients in the clinic
Assist in implementing and monitoring the patient infection control program for the clinic, including ensuring the integrity of sterile packaging, sterilizing instruments/equipment, and cleaning autoclaves and operatories
Once Certified:
Perform complete x-ray procedures (panoramic, cephalometric, intraoral)
Upload images to electronic dental records
Take on additional clinical responsibilities
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
BLS certification required within 60 days of hire
Dental Radiology certification required within 90 days of hire
Infection Control Exam (ICE) must be taken and passed within 90 days of hire
EFDA certification within 18 months of hire
