Intern - Analytics Analyst

This internship offers an immersive experience in data analytics and business intelligence within a fast-paced environment. You will rotate through multiple analytics teams, assisting in projects that support data-driven decision making and improve organizational insight. The role includes gathering requirements, creating and cleaning datasets, performing statistical analyses, and designing data visualizations to inform business strategies. You will gain hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and other analytical tools while collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders. This program provides a strong foundation in healthcare data literacy, analytics processes, and real-world project management, giving you a broad perspective on how data informs organizational decisions.

Accountabilities:
  • Perform assigned data modeling and analyses under supervision to support business objectives
  • Use data engineering and BI tools to generate actionable insights
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate findings
  • Ensure quality and reliability of results through benchmarks, reviews, and controls
  • Rotate across analytics teams to understand their roles in supporting enterprise-wide decision making
  • Assist with SQL queries, spreadsheet manipulation, and BI dashboard development
  • Gain exposure to healthcare analytics platforms and data integration processes

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Interest in healthcare quality, compliance, and data-driven decision-making
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and within a team
