Journeyman Electrician - Water Plant Operations at SUITEMATE STAFFING SOLUTIONS INC – Sunnyvale, Texas

Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician with strong industrial or utility experience to support electrical operations at a water treatment plant. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, reliable operation of electrical systems that support water production, treatment, and distribution.

The ideal candidate is a skilled, safety-focused electrician who is comfortable working with industrial electrical systems, control panels, motors, pumps, and plant infrastructure in a regulated environment.

Pay Rate: $39.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Collaborate with apprentices, contractors, and other trades to complete projects
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (required)
• Valid Driver's License
• Proven experience in industrial, utility, municipal, or plant-based electrical work
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Experience (Highly Attractive to Candidates)

• Experience in water or wastewater treatment facilities
• Exposure to industrial controls, PLCs, VFDs, or SCADA-related electrical systems
• Experience working in regulated or safety-sensitive environments
