About This Position
We are seeking a results-driven Plant Manager with a strong engineering background and expertise in process improvement and robotic automation. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing production efficiency, and leading the integration of advanced automation technologies.
The ideal candidate combines operational leadership with technical depth, bringing a hands-on approach to improving manufacturing performance, safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
Operational Leadership
Oversee daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics
Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met
Develop and manage plant budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics
Process Improvement
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen
Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste
Implement sustainable solutions that improve throughput, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
Robotic Automation & Engineering
Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of robotic and automated systems
Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate and deploy new automation technologies
Manage capital projects related to automation, including planning, budgeting, and execution
Ensure proper maintenance and reliability of automated equipment and robotics systems
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams including engineers, supervisors, and operators
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Support workforce training initiatives related to automation and advanced manufacturing technologies
Safety & Compliance
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all OSHA and regulatory requirements
Implement and enforce environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
Strategic Planning
Align plant operations with company goals and long-term strategy
Identify opportunities for capacity expansion, modernization, and technological advancement
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field required; Master’s preferred)
7–10+ years of manufacturing experience, including leadership roles
Proven experience in process improvement and automation/robotics implementation
Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience with industrial robotics, PLCs, and automated production systems
Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and data-driven decision-making
$160,000 - $200,000 a year
