Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations and create efficiencies: crews, equipment, and supplies.
- Provide training and guidance to field crews by following ANSI and company standards.
- Monitor crew productivity to ensure goals and targets are being met.
- Manage fleet and equipment repair and maintenance.
- Must be familiar with industry safety standards and procedures and is willing to enforce these standards as well as company safety policies.
- Coordinate with the Sales Arborist to create a daily work schedule for field personnel.
- Assist the owners with overflow sales estimates.
- Responsible for the hiring and supervision of all field employees.
- Coordinate training to ensure all field personnel is properly trained, licensed, etc.
- Degree in Business Management or Arboriculture, Forestry, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent experiencepreferred
- CTSP and/or ISA Certificationdesired but notrequired
- Management experience in the tree care industry experiencepreferred
- Successful candidates will excel in logistics and have experience in the day-to-day operations of a business, preferably in the tree care or landscapeindustries
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, prior experience training employees ispreferred
- Strong leadership skills: must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, andmanagement
- A clean/validdriverslicense
