Maintenance (PRN) at Atchison Community Health Clinic Inc – Topeka, Kansas

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Contractor (PRN) for light handyman-type work on an as-needed basis. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working independently and have experience in basic property maintenance and repair tasks. As a contractor, you will be responsible for completing various maintenance and repair projects at our Topeka location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work including but not limited to:
  • Minor plumbing repairs (e.g., fixing leaks, replacing faucets)
  • Light electrical work (e.g., changing light fixtures)
  • Painting, drywall patching, and basic carpentry
  • Replacing or repairing flooring, doors, windows, and other fixtures
  • Assembling furniture or installing equipment as needed
• Address maintenance issues on an as-needed basis, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and with attention to detail
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with local building codes and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with the management team regarding the status of projects and any issues encountered
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are met

• Ability to work on a flexible as - needed schedule
• Proven experience as a handyman or in general property maintenance
