Teller / Member Services Associate - FULL-TIME
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:15 AM – 6:30 PM
Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Compensation: $20/hour
About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and service-focused Teller/Member Services Associate to join our team. This individual will help create exceptional member experiences by providing accurate transactions, offering financial solutions, and delivering outstanding service at every interaction.
Candidates must be willing to work at any of our 5 branch locations as needed:
Bardstown Road, Downtown, Okolona, Middletown, Dixie Hwy
Requirements
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, credit check, and drug screen
- High School Diploma required
- Previous teller or cash-handling experience preferred
- Sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with PCs and standard software systems
- Commitment to delivering exceptional service and supporting Transcend’s Service Mission and Promises
- Willingness to assist internal and external members with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
Key Responsibilities
- Identify member financial needs and recommend appropriate Credit Union products and services to support their goals
- Build strong, trusting member relationships through prompt, courteous, and reliable service
- Perform routine financial transactions, including:
- Deposits & withdrawals
- Cash advances
- Loan payments & transfers
- Check cashing
- Open new accounts and maintain existing accounts, ensuring all documentation and setup are accurate and complete
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Credit Union products, services, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements—including security and robbery procedures
- Balance cash drawer daily, research discrepancies, and report issues to your supervisor and VP of Operations as required
- Assist the Call Center queue as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
