Overview:
We are seeking an Operations Integration Manager to support safe, reliable, and compliant operations across multiple process units at our Houston chemical manufacturing facility. This role integrates operations execution, training leadership, and process safety performance across three production units.
The Operations Integration Manager works closely with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure operational readiness, training effectiveness, turnaround execution, and regulatory compliance, while also providing qualified operational support during absences or abnormal conditions.
This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for candidates with strong chemical operations backgrounds who want broader site impact without traditional supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Integrating operational execution across multiple processing units
- Supporting operator training and qualification programs
- Partnering with Engineering and Turnaround teams on readiness and execution
- Driving closure of PSM, audit, incident investigation, and MOC actions
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Min of 7 plus years of prior experience as a Unit Manager or Unit Supervisor, plus operational leadership experience, in a PSM‑covered chemical or petrochemical manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience working effectively in a unionized operating environment.
- Prior experience as a Field Operator, Board Operator, or Utility Operator.
- Demonstrated cross‑unit qualification experience.
- Experience providing operator training, mentoring, coaching, or qualification sign‑off.
- Turnaround planning and execution support experience.
- Direct experience participating in and closing actions from PSM‑related activities, including audits, PHAs, MOC, and MOOC.
Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
