About This Position
Propane Driver – Freedom Ag & Energy Cooperative (FAE)

As a Propane Bobtail Delivery Driver with Freedom Ag & Energy Cooperative, you’ll be the face of our team—safely delivering fuel products to customers while providing outstanding service. This role offers independence, variety, and the opportunity to work with modern equipment across multiple product lines, including propane, heating oil, kerosene, diesel, and gasoline.
You’ll follow all safety regulations and FAE operating standards, ensure your vehicle is maintained and road-ready, and support customers by installing or servicing related equipment as needed. Every day is different, and every delivery makes an impact.
What You’ll Do
• Safely operate FAE commercial motor vehicles to deliver fuel products to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers.
• Work independently while meeting all DOT, safety, and FAE compliance standards.
• Load and unload energy products depending on location needs.
• Perform general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Provide excellent service with all internal and external customer.
• Operate forklifts pallets and other industrial equipment as assigned.
• Assist with equipment installation or maintenance at customer sites when needed.
What You Bring
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensing:
o Class B CDL with Airbrake & Tanker endorsements
o HAZMAT certification (or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe)
• Experience:
o At least 6 months operating delivery vehicles (box trucks, pickups, flatbeds, etc.) and/or warehouse experience
o Strong customer service skills
o Experience operating industrial equipment, including forklifts
o Previous energy operations a plus.
• Additional Requirements:
o Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle as defined by FAE motor vehicle safety policies
o Commitment to safety, reliability, and serving customers with professionalism
