Compensation:$25 - $35 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and services on construction equipment to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed for future reference and compliance.
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the operations team to schedule maintenance without disrupting workflow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems in diesel vehicles.
- The ability to solder and perform tire service is a plus.
- Knowledge of tractor-trailer systems is beneficial.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- You must live in the US.
