Bike Shop Sales Associate at SPSV ENTERTAINMENT LLC – Skyforest, California

A SkyPark Bike Shop Sales Associate’s purpose is to create a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for every guest visiting the park. This role requires frequent interaction with guests and team members, so strong communication skills are essential. Basic math skills are required, as the position includes handling financial transactions.

This is a seasonal position that requires reliable availability on weekends and holidays.

Sales Associates must be able to multitask, work both independently and as part of a team, and stay informed on products and trends that influence sales. This position reports to the Bike Shop Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Share product knowledge and enthusiasm for bikes with guests.
• Maintain familiarity with all bikes, parts, and accessories in stock.
• Guide guests through the full bike sales and rental process.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with guests.
• Assess guest needs based on preferences and intended use.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of store products and services to drive sales.
• Maintain a professional attitude that reflects SkyPark’s mission and values.
• Provide engaging, guest-focused service on and off the sales floor.
• Contribute to a high-energy, fast-paced, and fun retail environment.
• Operate point-of-sale systems, handle transactions, and balance cash drawers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and workspace.
• Promote current sales, promotions, and upsell opportunities.
• Assist with inventory across all retail areas.
• Keep bikes and work areas clean and organized.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic math skills (addition, multiplication, division).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong focus on guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
