About This Position
We are seeking a Network Engineer to support a Department of Defense mission at Pope Army Airfield, NC. This role provides hands-on engineering support for C2ISR network infrastructure, including deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of mission-critical networks supporting ISR operations.
The Network Engineer will work in dynamic operational environments supporting MQ-9 Reaper Squadron Operations Centers, SATCOM gateways, and other C2ISR systems, ensuring reliable connectivity across classified and cloud-connected networks.
Responsibilities
- Perform network setup, configuration, integration, and verification for C2ISR network components.
- Support deployment and sustainment of ISR network systems across operational locations.
- Provide on-site technical engineering support for mission network environments.
- Diagnose and resolve network performance issues and connectivity failures.
- Support integration of ISR data feeds and cross-domain dissemination systems.
- Conduct network performance assessments and troubleshooting activities.
- Provide rapid support for pre-deployment, deployment, and crew rotation activities.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, cybersecurity teams, and mission operators.
- Develop and maintain network configuration documentation and verification reports.
- Implement solutions for cloud-connected and classified network environments.

Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience supporting DoD network infrastructure or mission systems
- Hands-on experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment
- Experience supporting ISR or C2ISR network environments
- Ability to work in operational or deployment-based environments
Certification Requirement
Candidates must meet DoD 8140 requirements and obtain a DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III / IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System certification within six (6) months of assignment.
