Job Opening: Concrete Estimator (Telecommunications) 100% Remote

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

About the Position

We are looking for a Telecommunications Estimator with experience in infrastructure and construction projects. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and bid proposals, supporting the entire project lifecycle: from pre-construction to on-site execution.

Main Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for fiber optic, OSP, ISP, MDU, and telephone exchange projects.

Prepare and submit bid documents (RFP, RFQ, RFI).

Analyze drawings, field notes, and technical specifications.

Develop cost models (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors). Evaluate quotes and identify risks and value opportunities. Support the transition of projects to construction and operations teams. Validate budgets, costs, and change orders during execution.

Requirements

3 to 7+ years of experience in telecommunications cost estimating, construction cost estimating, or related fields. Advanced English proficiency (B2+, C1). Solid knowledge of telecommunications construction, including fiber optic networks and OSP/ISP installation methods. Experience preparing bid packages and supporting construction teams post-award. Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and technical specifications. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (cost modeling required). Solid understanding of labor productivity rates and construction workflows. Experience with FTTH, fiber backbone, small cell, or MDU deployments. Familiarity with permitting, preparation, and utility coordination processes. Knowledge of industry standards such as the National Electrical Safety Code Experience working closely with construction teams in the field or as a former field engineer/project manager Familiarity with estimating software, GIS tools, or telecommunications design platforms
