Commercial Operations Manager - Austin, TX

THE DETAILS

Position: Commercial Operations Manager

Salary Range: $60,000 to $65,000 plus eligible for annual bonus

Schedule: Full-time. Must be available to work frequent evenings and weekends as required by business need.

Requirements: Valid drivers license required with minimum of 2 years driving experience

THE SPIRIT OF THE POSITION

The Commercial Operations Manager oversees the operations of a location under the direction of the Director of Operations to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. This role supports an employee-focused servant leadership culture and implements programs and initiatives from the home office while supporting the operational teams at assigned locations.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES

Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct on-site employees

Identify high potential employees to support organizational growth

Process payroll including timely approval of hours, coordination with payroll, and compliance with wage and hour requirements

Manage financial performance of assigned locations including budget adherence and revenue enhancement

Oversee transition of newly assigned locations from contract acceptance through opening

Build and maintain positive client relationships to ensure retention

Implement and deliver all contractual requirements between LAZ Parking and clients

Assist with due diligence for new locations including rate surveys, ticket pulls, site photos, and marketing ideas

Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports

Maximize revenue, manage expenses, and ensure customer satisfaction through high service standards

Organize and manage event operations when applicable

Monitor market rates and recommend pricing changes

Complete additional projects and duties as assigned

EDUCATION

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred

EXPERIENCE

One or more years in a management role

Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office applications

Parking management experience preferred but not required

Experience with financial statements, P and L reports, and budgeting

Ability to work a flexible schedule including outside regular business hours
