Racquet Sports Merchandiser and Shop Manager at Greystone Golf and Country Club – Birmingham, Alabama

Essential Functions:
Merchandise Management: Handle all incoming inventory—enter new merchandise, label with scan-able tags, and ensure shelves are always stocked.
Buying: Take the lead on purchasing decisions, working closely with our Racquet Sports Director to ensure top-quality products for our members and guests.
Display Creativity: Manage and update product displays, keeping the shop visually appealing and aligned with the club atmosphere.
Team Leadership: Train and oversee shop attendants, ensuring excellence in hospitality.
Tournament Support: Work closely with the Racquet Sports Director to plan and support events, from securing t-shirts and trophies to managing tournament schedules.
Event Coordination: Assist with organizing tennis club events and special activities to engage members and grow participation.

Who we’re looking for:
Passion for Tennis: You don’t need to be a pro, but a love for the sport is strongly preferred.
Strong Organizational Skills: You’ll manage inventory, orders, and schedules with precision.
Tech-Savvy: Comfort with point-of-sale systems and different apps for the club.
Leadership Ability: You’ll train new hires and ensure the shop runs smoothly day-to-day.
A Creative Eye: From merchandise displays to event planning, we value creativity!
