Paid Promotions/Event Coordinator Internship
Nashville Shores Lakeside Resort is a 385-acre family recreation destination located on Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, TN, just past the airport off I-40 (Exit 221B). It is comprised of a first-class water park, RV campground, lakeview cabins, a 310-slip marina, boat and Jet-Ski rental business and other attractions.
Primary Responsibility:
The Promotions/Event Coordinator focuses on driving guest engagement and excitement through in-park promotions, contests, and special events. Responsibilities may include coordinating on-site giveaways and activities, supporting media and influencer visits, assisting with event logistics, and helping create memorable experiences that enhance the guest visit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Marketing Director with various departmental functions
  • Assist with planning and execution of special events
  • Support media and influencer visits to the park
  • Respond to guest and media inquiries
  • Escort reporters/photographers on park property
  • Coordinate and host in-park promotions, contests, and giveaways
  • Provide logistical support for event set-up and tear-down
  • Work with marketing team to ensure promotions are executed smoothly
  • Assist with planning and implementation of radio and TV promotions
  • Assist Guest Relations
  • Field incoming marketing calls
  • General office management such as copying, scanning, and general correspondence
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Organized and detail orientated with a proven ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • Self-Starter, capable of adapting to any work environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player
  • Strong oral communications and listening skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop and Canva preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 to 30 pounds.
  • Knowledge of various social media platforms
  • 18 years of age or older
Pay Rate:
This position is a paid seasonal internship starting at $14 - $14.50 an hour that runs from late April through early August.
Begin Date: Immediately/or depending on availability of chosen candidate.
