Position Summary
PowerRise is seeking a strategic executive to serve as the Director, Field Operations. In this high-impact leadership role, you will define the operational strategy, resource architecture, and service delivery standards for our entire field organization. Leading a multidisciplinary workforce of construction oversight and technical engineering professionals, you will ensure that all site activities drive PowerRiseβs rigorous safety, quality, and compliance mandates. You will serve as the executive operational liaison to our clients, translating high-level infrastructure goals into flawless field execution and long-term account growth.
Key Responsibilities
β’ π¦π§π₯ππ§ππππ πͺπ’π₯πππ’π₯ππ ππ’π©ππ₯π‘ππ‘ππ:
β’ Define and drive the strategic vision for PowerRiseβs field operations, ensuring alignment with corporate growth goals and client service level agreements (SLAs).
β’ Architect resource allocation strategies across the Mid-Atlantic region, optimizing the deployment of technical and operational talent to maximize efficiency and revenue.
β’ Establish and enforce operational governance frameworks, conducting high-level audits to ensure systemic compliance with internal benchmarks and regulatory standards.
β’ Cultivate a high-performance culture, bridging the gap between technical engineering staff and site operations teams to create a unified, agile service delivery model.
β’ ππ«πππ¨π§ππ©π πππππ‘π§ π¦π§ππͺππ₯ππ¦πππ£:
β’ Serve as the senior trusted advisor to client executives, defining operational success metrics and ensuring PowerRise consistently exceeds performance targets.
β’ Lead quarterly "Strategic Service Reviews" to analyze portfolio health, forecast operational needs, and champion process innovation.
β’ Translate complex client infrastructure objectives into scalable staffing and operational roadmaps.
β’ Act as the final point of escalation for critical operational challenges, focusing on high-level dispute resolution and preserving long-term client partnerships.
β’ ππ’π π£ππππ‘ππ, π¦ππππ§π¬ & π€π¨ππππ§π¬ π¦π§π₯ππ§πππ¬:
β’ Champion an uncompromising "Zero Harm" safety culture, setting the standard for OSHA and NESC compliance across all field operations.
β’ Design and implement robust Quality Assurance (QA) and risk management frameworks to eliminate rework and ensure technical precision at scale.
β’ Leverage operational data and safety analytics to identify systemic trends, mitigate enterprise risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field with 12+ years of progressive leadership experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 16+ years of progressive experience in utility operations or field leadership in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrated success managing large, multidisciplinary field organizations, specifically overseeing both technical (engineering) and operational (execution) personnel.
Strong background in regulatory compliance, safety governance, resource optimization, and P&L management.
Proven ability to nurture senior-level client relationships and drive operational excellence in a service-provider environment.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience directing workflows for geographically distributed field teams.
Background in utility grid modernization, infrastructure maintenance, or major capital programs.
PMP or CCM certification.
