**SEASONAL** Host/Hostess, Horseshoe at Piedmont Driving Club – Atlanta, Georgia

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT HOST/HOSTESS:

Our club in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a full-time host or hostess. You provide outstanding customer service to our members and their guests. Friendly and welcoming, you provide immediate attention to all upon seating. You patiently walk, then seat our members and their guests, carefully handing each person a menu. Having learned our floor plan inside and out, you quickly assess tables status to properly manage the board.

You are careful to inform the manager about any special needs. You promptly take reservations and wait list individuals as appropriate. Taking pride in your dining area, you are conscientious about adhering to health codes and cleaning procedures as well as completing side work. You enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop for your work and get great satisfaction out of helping our members and their guests have a great dining experience!

WORK SCHEDULE:

This full-time host position requires working variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some college preferred
• Previous restaurant experience
• Ability to read, write and execute basic math skills
• Reservation software experience preferred
• Previous experience working in a private club or upscale dining room preferred

Experience in a country club environment, experience with a point-of-sale system, and some food & beverage knowledge are highly desirable but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
