Job Title: Commercial Pressure Washing / Maintenance Technician

Department: Maintenance

Reports To: Maintenance Manager - East

Exemption Status (FLSA): Non-Exempt

Job Summary: Responsible for pressure washing the exterior surfaces of True North store locations to maintain a clean and professional appearance. This role also supports general maintenance needs across assigned company sites. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, performs additional maintenance and repair tasks as needed to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Essential Functions:

• Travel and perform pressure washing and soft washing on surfaces such as buildings, sidewalks, fuel islands, parking lots, and equipment
• Clean and restore exterior surfaces including concrete and brick
• Operate and maintain pressure washers, hoses, surface cleaners, and chemical applicators
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards
• Provide general maintenance assistance to ensure all company sites adhere to the company's appearance standards
• General maintenance including interior and exterior painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing light bulbs, air filters, and cleaning coils
• Coordinate with maintenance and store management on equipment deliveries
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently with little supervision
• Must be detail oriented and safety focused
• Must be comfortable driving a box truck

Education and Experience:

• 1-3 years of general maintenance experience: HVAC, Plumbing, and/or electrical
• Prior pressure washing experience highly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders.
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive movement throughout the shift.
• Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, grip, and operate equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, including talking and hearing.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

• This position requires working primarily outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity. Frequent exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, and high-pressure equipment is expected.
• Work is performed on commercial property exteriors and interiors, including sidewalks, parking lots, and building surfaces.

Required Travel:

• Travel to all company sites across the area to pressure wash building exteriors and surrounding areas
