The JVS Integrated Employment Services (IES), funded by MLITSD and managed by WCG, provides employment services to unemployed individuals of all ages, financial backgrounds and skills to help them gain and retain employment within their field or a related field. To achieve its goal, the program provides a range of services including one-on-one employment counselling, employment workshops, job development/placement services and job retention supports. In addition, IES collaborates with other programs to ensure efficient and smooth operations through streamlining client referrals to appropriate services.
As an Administrative Assistant you will:

About the Program
The JVS Integrated Employment Services (IES), funded by MLITSD and managed by WCG, provides employment services to unemployed individuals of all ages, financial backgrounds and skills to help them gain and retain employment within their field or a related field. To achieve its goal, the program provides a range of services including one-on-one employment counselling, employment workshops, job development/placement services and job retention supports. In addition, IES collaborates with other programs to ensure efficient and smooth operations through streamlining client referrals to appropriate services.
As an Administrative Assistant you will:
- Provide on-site reception and front-line customer service to clients, employers, and visitors (5 days/week).
- Coordinate appointments, orientations, and workshops, and ensure timely client follow-up.
- Maintain accurate client records and update information in internal systems (e.g., EOIS CAMS, FFAI, Salesforce, and JVS databases).
- Prepare client rosters and support basic reporting and documentation as required.
- Process administrative components of training incentives and financial supports, including maintaining up-to-date client and employer files.
- Provide general administrative support to staff and assist with day-to-day office operations.
- Travel to other locations, as required.
- High school diploma
- 1-2 years of office administration experience
- Strong organization skills; detail oriented
- Effective time management and problem solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate; the ability to learn systems used by the agency (i.e. SalesForce)
- Employment Ontario knowledge and exposure
- Demonstrated financial literacy skills
- Knowledge of additional languages of communities we serve
