PRN Clinical Support Technician (CNA / CMA) (ER /MedSurg) at Eastland Memorial Hospital – Eastland, Texas

Position Summary

The PRN Clinical Support Technician provides direct and indirect patient care support in both the Emergency Department and Acute Care Unit. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and physicians, this position assists with patient care activities including vital signs monitoring, activities of daily living, specimen collection, patient preparation for examinations, and maintaining a safe and clean patient care environment.

Licensure, Registry or Certification

• One of the following required:
  • Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), OR
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within three (3) months of hire.

Experience

Six (6) months to one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
