Aspen Private Duty Nursing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide 1:1 care for a patient living with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) in the home setting in Irving, Texas.

Position Details

Employment Type: PRN

Patient Population: ALS (1:1 care)
Location: Irving, TX

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a 1:1 home setting
• Monitor respiratory status and neurological changes associated with ALS
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and document accurately
• Support patient comfort, safety, and dignity
• Communicate effectively with care team, and family members
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Texas RN/LVN license
• Experience with ALS, neurological, or medically complex patients preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a home setting
• Current BLS/CPR certification
