About This Position
Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services is searching for a full-time Crematory Operations/Administrative Assistant position at our location near Atlanta, Georgia at a rate of $20 per hour for a mid-day shift weekdays and weekends as needed.
We are a family-owned company providing high-level, compassionate care for pets and their families. The position is responsible for hybrid of services including bookkeeping, answering and placing phone calls and assisting families while also offering a high quality, clean and efficient cremation service. The position will offer a full benefit package (401K match, medical, dental, vision, company paid life insurance, voluntary pet insurance, short term and long-term disability insurance) that is available after 30 days of employment.
This is an excellent entry-level position for anyone with an interest in Funeral Service. We provide hands-on training in cremation operations with no prior degree or certifications necessary. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sort Paperwork, being able to recognize and fix errors.
- Enter sales into accounting software.
- Answer billing questions from families, clinic personnel, and other Faithful Companion staff.
- Collect outstanding payments from individual families and clinics.
- Works efficiently and ensures maximum production while maintaining protocols.
- Conducts high-quality cremation services. (Including but not limited to: driving company vehicles, handle and transport pets with the upmost respect and dignity at all times.)
- Maintains attention to detail while serving multiple families, ensuring an error-free standard.
- Responds to customers and veterinary drop-offs promptly and professionally, providing thorough support.
- Assists in maintaining a clean and presentable state of the crematory facility.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

- Previous experience using cremation equipment is desired but not required. (On-site training will be conducted).
