• Architect Enterprise Data Solutions: Design and build scalable data lakes, lakehouses, and data mart architectures that support business-critical analytics and operations.
• Lead Technical Strategy: Define data architecture roadmaps, evaluate emerging technologies, and establish architectural standards and best practices.
• Design Data Pipelines: Architect robust ELT/ETL frameworks and orchestration solutions using tools like Airflow, DBT, and cloud-native services.
• Enable Modern Analytics: Develop semantic models and metadata frameworks that democratize data access across the organization.
• Drive Innovation: Research and implement cutting-edge solutions including AI/LLM integration, real-time streaming architectures, and advanced analytics platforms.
• Mentor & Guide: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and junior architects, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Collaborate Cross-functionally: Partner with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Optimize Performance: Design database schemas, implement optimization strategies, and ensure data governance and security standards.
• Ensure Data Accuracy & Reconciliation: Implement processes to reconcile data across multiple sources, ensuring consistency, completeness, and reliability for downstream analytics.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields.
• 3+ years of proven experience architecting data engineering systems at scale.
• Demonstrated success delivering production-grade data solutions for enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of big data technologies including Apache Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services like AWS (S3, Glue, EMR, etc.).
• In-depth understanding of data architecture concepts including data lakes and data mart architectures.
• Proficient in data modeling and database design techniques.
