Position Summary
The ERP Data Analyst supports and optimizes the Epicor ERP system within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, developing reports and dashboards, and providing actionable insights to operational teams. The analyst partners closely with IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing to improve system utilization and enable data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing knowledge and understands aerospace compliance requirements.

Responsibilities & Expectations
ERP & Data Management
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Epicor ERP data structures, tables, and business processes
- Maintain and monitor data integrity across Manufacturing, Inventory, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Engineering modules
- Support ERP transactions related to work orders, routings, BOMs, labor, inventory, purchasing, and costing
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies and root causes
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop, maintain, and automate Epicor BAQs, dashboards, reports, and KPIs
- Provide operational, financial, and executive-level reporting
- Analyze production performance, scrap, rework, labor efficiency, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery
- Support ad hoc data requests and detailed analytical reviews
Business Support & Continuous Improvement
- Partner cross-functionally to understand reporting and data needs
- Translate business requirements into ERP data solutions and analytics
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through trend analysis and performance metrics
- Assist with ERP upgrades, enhancements, testing, and user acceptance
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure ERP data supports aerospace compliance requirements (AS9100, ITAR, DFARS, as applicable)
- Develop and maintain documentation for data standards, reporting logic, and ERP processes
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate, traceable ERP data
Required Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of Epicor ERP (Kinetic preferred) data analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (work orders, BOMs, routings, inventory, labor tracking)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling)
- Experience developing BAQs, dashboards, and reports within Epicor
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace or other regulated manufacturing experience
- Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, SSRS, or similar tools
- Experience supporting ERP implementations or major system upgrades
- Understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and manufacturing KPIs
- Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, or government contract reporting

Physical Requirements

- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes
