About This Position
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Transcriptionist to convert audio and video recordings into accurate written documents. The ideal candidate will have excellent listening skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality transcripts in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Transcribe audio and video recordings into clear, accurate written documents. Ensure transcripts are free from errors and accurately reflect the spoken content. Edit and proofread transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and formatting consistency. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Meet daily, weekly, or project-specific deadlines. Utilize transcription software and tools effectively to enhance productivity. Clarify unclear audio segments by consulting with clients or team members when necessary. Organize and manage transcription files systematically. Qualifications:
Proven experience in transcription or a related role. Exceptional listening and comprehension skills. Excellent command of language, grammar, and punctuation. Proficiency with transcription software and tools (e.g., Express Scribe, Otter.ai). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. High-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace. Preferred Skills:
Experience with specialized transcription (medical, legal, technical) is a plus. Typing speed of at least 60 WPM. Knowledge of industry-specific terminology. What We Offer:
