About This Position
Job Summary
The IT Support Technician provides day-to-day technical support for computer systems, peripherals, and basic network connectivity within a laboratory and office environment. This is an entry-level, hands-on support role focused on user assistance, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. The position also works alongside the CRM Administrator to support new client setup and system integrations. The role supports internal staff and collaborates with senior IT and operations personnel as needed.

Responsibilities
- Respond to employee requests for assistance with desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, fax machines, and related peripherals
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic connectivity issues and provide timely resolutions
- Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, monitors, printers, and mobile devices
- Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access issues
- Install and maintain approved software applications and updates
- Document issues, resolutions, and equipment inventory as required
- Support basic network troubleshooting (e.g., connectivity, printer access)
- Assist with routine system checks and maintenance tasks
Requirements/ Education (Any one of the following will be taken into account)
- Entry-level position; prior IT experience preferred but not required
- 0–2 years of relevant experience or technical training is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Working knowledge of:
- Windows operating systems
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
