Job Summary:
Plan, schedule, and oversee daily production operations by assigning personnel, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient workflow, consistent quality, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget targets.

As a Precast Plant Manager, You Will:

• Establish and monitor performance standards, analyze workflow, and troubleshoot operational issues to drive efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee all plant personnel matters, including hiring, training, performance management, and discipline; enforce company policies and regulations.
• Implement and maintain the company safety program, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements; conduct monthly safety meetings, accident investigations, and plant inspections.
• Manage plant operations to achieve profitability, quality, safety, and schedule targets; develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to maintain a competitive edge.
• Align operational strategies with corporate objectives, providing clear direction and focus to staff.
• Monitor daily operations, initiate corrective actions, and ensure proper follow-up for sustained performance.
• Collect and analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities; develop systems and processes to optimize productivity, standards, metrics, and performance targets.
• Direct and coordinate activities of Production Leads, Quality Leads, and labor teams to meet organizational goals.
• Participate in monthly business reviews to report on plant performance against goals and objectives.
• Contribute to annual business planning activities, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.

Skills/Requirements:

• Five (5) years of experience in precast production processes, with production management required
• General computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
• Legal capacity to drive a company vehicle required
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Capable of pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and frequent repetitive use of hands/forearms.
• Able to move throughout the facility for up to 12 hours per day.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for typing, filing, and operating office equipment.
• Visual acuity sufficient to read small print.
• Hearing acuity and verbal communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with others.
• Moderate to high exposure to safety hazards and unusual elements.
• Work performed in production environments, including wet, hot, humid, and cold conditions.
• Adherence to safety precautions and protocols is required at all times.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
