As a Coding Specialist Denial Management, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.

Telecommuting; This job allows part-time telecommuting/remote work, but will be required to be onsite for training and periodically for meetings. Must be able to travel to Evansville, IN.

Job Overview
Position will primarily focus on coding related denials, how to prevent the and how to respond to them when appropriate. Will assist the Coding Compliance Officer with all RAC, CERT, and payor audits. May be asked to train others Resolute billing on how to read the screens and see notes to be able to better perform their jobs. Position is responsible for identifying and resolving revenue cycle opportunities for improvement for Professional Billing. Position is responsible for ensuring billing compliance and system stability by working with the IT Team to make sure we are billing properly and meeting established billing requirements

Education and Experience
High School Graduate or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Five years of experience with professional billing and coding required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Certified Professional Coder - CPC Certification [or] Certified Coding Associate Coder – CCA Certification. Must hold driver’s license and have a car to be able to travel to office locations for training.
