Housekeeper in Westlake Village, California at Specialty Surgical Center Of Thousand Oaks, LP

We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed-orientated Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment which is essential to ensuring the safety and well being of our patients, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a ream to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize operating rooms, procedure rooms, pre-op, PACU, restrooms, common area and other areas.

Follow established cleaning and disinfection protocols and procedures.

Collect and dispose of waste, biohazardous waste and linens.

Stock and maintain supplies in common areas, (restrooms, breakrooms)

Respond to requests for cleaning services from healthcare staff.

You may operate heavy-duty equipment and use special cleaning equipment.

Qualifications:

Housekeeping experience required utilizing basic housekeeping practices and procedures, proper handling/disposal of infectious waste and proper safety skills in handling of housekeeping chemicals.
