About This Position

Location: Hendry and Highlands Counties About Us: We are a leading EMS ambulance company specializing in BLS, ALS, and Critical Care Inter-facility Transports. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of care and professionalism to our patients, and we are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Paramedic Field Supervisor to join our team. Position Overview: As a Paramedic Field Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of field staff, ensuring optimal performance, patient care, and adherence to protocols. You will be responsible for supervising paramedics on all levels of EMS services, including BLS, ALS, and Critical Care Interfacility Transports. You will also play a key role in mentoring and providing leadership to the team, and ensuring all operations meet the highest safety and clinical standards. Roles and Responsibilities: • Supervise and support paramedic and EMT staff in the field, providing guidance and leadership. • Ensure that all paramedics and EMTs are adhering to company policies, protocols, and safety procedures. • Oversee the clinical care provided during patient transports, ensuring quality and safety at all times. • Assist with the evaluation and performance of field staff, offering constructive feedback and coaching. • Manage operational concerns, including vehicle inspections, maintenance, and proper equipment usage. • Respond to critical or complex calls when needed, providing advanced care and leadership in the field. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding EMS services. • Maintain open communication with other supervisors, management, and chain of command. • Serve as a liaison between field staff and the operations team to ensure seamless communication. • Drive and Maintain operational vehicle (provided), including fueling and routine maintenance. • Assist in the hiring, training, and development of field staff. • Report and document any incidents or operational concerns to management. Qualifications: • At least five years of experience as a paramedic, with a preference for experience in a supervisory or leadership role. • Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) certification preferred. • Current and valid paramedic license. • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to manage stressful situations and provide clear direction under pressure. • Knowledge of EMS protocols, patient care, and safety standards. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
