This position supports our Blood Mobile which travels across SD, MN and Iowa as well as our on campus services.

This position may be eligible for a $1,500 sign on bonus!

Job Summary

Responsible for collecting blood from donors using both traditional as well as apheresis, check quality of blood and assume responsibility for safety and comfort of the donor following established standards and practices. Responsible to process phone calls, donor cancellations, and other inquiries regarding blood donations.

Education and/or Experience

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related phlebotomy experience plus hands-on training in apheresis blood collection preferred.
• This position requires basic computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday - The schedule for this position can start as early as 6 am and end as late as 10 pm.

Occasional weekends - as needed.

Full Time - 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $18.25 - $24.00 per hour
