Direct Support Professional at InVision Human Services – Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you a compassionate and reliable individual who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others? We’re seeking dedicated Live-In Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on care and companionship to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support individuals with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Administer medications as directed
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, community events, and social outings
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and track progress toward personal goals
• Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in everyday life

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent communication skills and a nurturing demeanor
• Willingness to work flexible hours and reside on-site during scheduled shifts
• Prior experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a plus
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Must pass background checks and drug screening
• Familiarity with 6400 regulations is advantageous
