Building Performance Specialist at Estes Heating and Air Conditioning Inc – Atlanta, Georgia

Responsibilities include the following:

• Basic to intermediate sheetrock skills (repair damaged drywall, hang new drywall, mud/tape/sand, etc.)
• Be on time and in proper uniform
• Be able to complete a variety of carpentry/handy-worker tasks
• Be able to communicate with customer on job scope and pricing
• Demonstrate a consistent level of professionalism
• Be able to maintain job site cleanliness
• Be able to adapt to change as needed to complete jobs
• Be able to maintain a positive attitude
• Be able to obtain tools necessary to complete jobs when needed
• Be able to communicate with supervisor on job status
• Ability to drive a company vehicle and follow guidelines set by company policies
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements/Education:

• Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED
• Applicants must have 1 - 3 years experience in the construction/handy-worker field
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a record that meets Estes standards for insurability to drive a company vehicle

Technical competencies:

• Experience working with hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions
• Ability to compile an accurate material list for completion of jobs

Competencies Required:

• Ability to work in changing weather environments such as heat, cold, rain, etc.
• Ability to work in tight or small spaces such as crawlspaces and attics
• Ability to lift weights up to 100 pounds
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to work in a timely fashion to complete jobs in a timely manner
