Job Summary
Position Highlights:
Supervises and coordinates staff to serve patrons at a variety of brand outlets. Involved in coaching, training, and developing team members. Ensures positive customer service through timely execution of service, accurate product assembly and cashiering. Assists management with cash control, special functions, and catering. Provides input on disciplinary actions according to Human Resources guidelines. Assists in completing employee performance evaluations in a timely manner and assisting with Dietary bookkeeper duties as assigned, including deposit verification and data entry. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values of Moffitt Cancer Center.

Responsibilities:
- Oversees day-to-day operations of food services staff. Ensures the shift is appropriately staffed and provides necessary coverage in all food service areas. Demonstrates accountability for shift operations, service
- Responsible for coaching and counseling employees towards performance improvement. Provides staff education and training. Creates a high performing team through ongoing professional development. Manages team conflict and issues appropriate corrective actions, improvement plans and performance appraisals. Interviews and hires employees. Conducts orientation, onboarding and training.
- Responsible for handling complex financial transactions. Process opening and closing cash handling functions to include issuing and receiving cashier banks, reviewing cashier reports to determine overage, shortage of sales, performing cashier audits and processing and preparing cash deposits.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean work environment and adhering to sanitation and safety standards. Conducts routine sanitation inspections of production areas, patient tray lines and the cafeteria. Coordinates cleaning schedules and repair/work orders. Reports and investigates customer concerns regarding the safety and sanitation of food.
- Demonstrate good rapport and cooperative working relationship with all members of the department and Cancer Center staff.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Two (2) years' experience working in a hospital, commercial restaurant or other food service operation.
- The ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions, and to accurately follow instructions when using, disposing of and mixing chemicals.
- Valid Florida Driver's License upon hire.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience as a lead/mentor
