Production Worker at Abacus – Roanoke, Texas

Duties:

-Must be able to learn and understand the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures necessary to lead and troubleshoot assigned production areas.

-Direct production personnel to ensure that orders are produced in a timely fashion and adhere to safety and quality standards in accordance with company policies and applicable.

-Monitor equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor; assist maintenance personnel with routine equipment cleaning.

-Make adjustments to equipment settings.

-Maintain proper work logs and complete required reports as necessary.

-Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble and/or label material per specific production instructions.

-Maintain a clean and organized work area.

-Duties include assisting on production lines or equipment, loading corregated board into machines, palletizing bundles of boxes, or assisting in the shipping department.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and quality control.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

-Able to read and follow work instructions.

-Able to stand for long periods of time.

-Able to work from verbal or written instructions.

-Able to lift 20 - 50 pounds.

-Able to meet all Quality and Production standards.
