Group Fitness Instructor at The Jewish Center of Buffalo – Getzville, New York

SUMMARY:

The Group Fitness Instructor is essential in providing members and guests with an enjoyable and welcoming experience while participating in group fitness classes at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo. The group fitness instructor provides direct service to members and guests in a warm, engaging and inviting environment, including but not limited to Yoga, Pilates, Barre, Silver Sneakers, Zumba and Les Mills.

Position responsibilities: include the following.

• START and END classes on time.
• Class content must be up to industry standards and guidelines.
• Check group fitness/cycling studio to make sure that area is safe and clean for participants. Make sure that the rooms are tidy after your class.

Requirements:

• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification - must maintain current accreditation
• Current CPR and AED certifications
• It is your responsibility to maintain current CPR and Group Fitness certification(s). Proof of CPR will be required yearly.
