About the role

• As a Multi-Modal Operations Specialist, you will be developing, maintaining, and growing relationships between carriers, customers and Candor Expedite. Responsible for quoting, coordinating, and controlling the movement of customer supplied products with a focus on achieving high quality standards and customer satisfaction. Manage the productivity and efficiency of Candor Expedite carriers and customers.

What you'll do

• Timely acknowledgment and communication of solutions to customer inquiries for all LTL, Air, Consolidated, Project based shipments
• Identify and create opportunities within current customer base and future customers
• Procure, identify, and build relationships with necessary vendors to support department.
• Execute Safety and Service Standard Operating Procedures.
• Take immediate action to correct or solve issues that may occur
• Manage new and existing customer accounts and solicit freight
• Generate new customers from leads or cold calls
• Process and generate shipment orders in company TMS
• Communicate with carriers and tender loads
• Plan, manage, and trace shipments
• Effectively procure partners that meet and exceed Candor’s values and customer’s expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in project management, business development or related area
• Experience managing multiple clients, projects and/or teams to achieve a high service level.
• A basic understanding of freight, shipping & transportation, supply chain, and client service related to the industry.
