Licensed Social Worker at Metrodoc Urgent Care – Perth Amboy, New Jersey

The Master of Social Work (MSW) is responsible for providing social work services to clients in our state of art clinic The MSW may work with individuals, families, or groups to improve their social and emotional well-being.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients with a variety of needs, such as mental health, substance abuse, and family problems.
• Conduct assessments of client needs and develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with other providers, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses.
• Advocate for clients and their families.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families.
• Research and develop new social work interventions.
• Write reports.
• Participate in professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited program.
• 2+ years of experience providing social work services.
• Strong clinical skills and judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
