The UNM Department ofPsychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Center for Psychiatric Research, is seekinga dynamic and experienced candidate to serve as Nurse/Clinical ResearchCoordinator for the research study, "Evaluation of Psilocybin As anAdjunctive Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder in Methadone-maintained PatientsWho Continue to Use Illicit Opioids."
The successful candidate will need to use acquired knowledge and skill to carryout and complete project activities to include:

The successful candidate will need to use acquired knowledge and skill to carryout and complete project activities to include:
- Working closely with the study MD and other study staff to implement the therapeutic aspects of protocol including preparatory sessions; medication administration sessions and integration sessions; and ensure that therapy provided adheres to the therapy manual.
- Performing clinical evaluations, assessments, and medical procedures as described by the protocol and MOP, includes completion of required checklists/progress notes and other source documentation.
- Attending and participating in study conference calls.
- Evaluating study participants for suicidal or homicidal risk and documenting clinical findings and decisions.
- Providing advice for decisions to exclude, refer, or withdraw study participants.

Conditions of Employment:
- CPR Certified.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
- May be required to submit immunization records for review for required vaccines and TB testing.
- Must maintain certification and/or licensure status.
- May be required to complete department-specific professional development activities.
- Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
