Job Summary:
Ensures software, products, and systems meet quality standards, functionality, and performance requirements before release.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases, scripts, and plans
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues
- Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Analyze test results, report findings, and recommend corrective actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices, creation and enhancement of SOPs
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing
- Self-motivated and able to focus on priorities of the organization
- Working in diverse workstreams, agile and non-agile as well as development and bug fix
Nonessential Functions:
- Participating in ad-hoc projects or special assignments as directed by management
- Identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks in existing QA or development workflows and recommending solutions to improve them
- Sharing best practices and lessons learned within the organization
- Contributing to the creation or refinement of internal guidelines, templates, or tools that streamline QA and related processes
- Preparing and organizing management information, such as progress reports or summaries for leadership
- Assisting other departments with quality-related inquiries or minor process improvements outside the main QA scope.

Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of experience in software QA or testing roles
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools
- Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jenkins, Rainforest, Postman) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a passion for quality
- Experience testing EDI, web, database and mobile applications
- SOC knowledge and experience is a plus
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus (CSQA, CAT, CSTE)
