Orientation dates May 18th and June 1st
As a Nursing Extern, you will provide compassionate care at the bedside of our patients every day. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, other team members, and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality. For our team members, this is more than a career — it’s a calling.
You will be responsible for:
• Providing general patient care as necessary throughout shift
• Assisting patients in preparation for meals, responding promptly to patient needs and call lights, and in assisting in teaching patents self-care
• Collecting and transporting patient specimens as requested
What you will need:
• Completion of first year of Registered Nurse curriculum for Associates Degree program OR enrolled in the Junior semester for a Nursing Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: No clinical experience outside of nursing school is required.
Shifts: This position requires 12 hour shifts during holiday breaks, school breaks, and weekends. School year shift requirements will be further discussed during the interview due to schedule and location.
