SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The General Production – Eyewear is responsible for actively engaging in eyewear manufacturing, meeting production standards within quality parameters in order to achieve the production plan of all Chrome Hearts Eyewear

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Follow all training and work instructions relative to the assembly of Chrome Hearts eyewear in performing duties assigned.
  • Participate in all tasks needed to get eyewear production made and orders shipped out, by completing tasks by both machine and hand.
  • Ensure product meets quality standards.
  • Ensures necessary production materials and equipment are available based on production plan.
  • Maintain daily production standards as outlined by your supervisor to meet the goals of the work unit.
  • Lead by example, following all company policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive routine.
  • Works safely and maintains an organized, clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Report safety hazards and work-related injuries to supervision immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience with, or the ability to, perform industrial production processes with a high degree of hand operations. Examples: Apparel and jewelry manufacturing, making of leather goods, manual soldering of printed circuit boards or electronics, wire harness manufacturing, transformer or electric magnetic manufacturing, industrial painting, detailed assembly of small parts.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and coordinate with others well.
  • Ability to multi-task within a team effectively with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Eager to take on responsibility with a personal sense of accountability.
  • Ability to be trained to read drawings or instructions and communicate concepts visually and verbally.
  • Ability to sustain volume output and quality throughout the shift. Some tasks are tedious and require focused concentration for long periods of time.
  • Must have good eyesight and be able to inspect small parts. We do provide magnification equipment.
  • Eye for aesthetics and finish level.
  • Follow detailed, mostly verbal, and some written instructions. Be able to receive constructive input on a regular basis. (English or Spanish).
  • Experience in detailed assembly of small parts requiring good hand eye coordination. Any experience with production processes that require subtle visual clues and details to guide the work method. Any use of precision measuring equipment to inspect parts a plus.
  • Knowledge of assembly tolerances, simple moving part design or how components fit together a plus.
  • Pad printing experience a plus, general commercial printing experience is also good.
  • Experience with CNC machining processes, or any other industrial machine a plus.
  • Good attitude and ability to repeat processes or task consistently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time, some walking. Employees are regularly required to talk and/or hear. Employees will be expected to repeat much of the physical motions throughout the shift that may include use of their feet, legs, arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. This work will involve a variety of hand operations requiring a high degree of manual dexterity and close visual attention. The employee must be able to carry and/or lift up to 25 lbs.

The pay range for this role is:
22 - 25 USD per hour(Hollywood, CA)
