About the Role:
The Custodian is responsible for the daily cleaning, upkeep, and basic maintenance of Tribal Government buildings and facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role may include additional duties as needed to support departmental goals and operations.

About the Role:
The Custodian is responsible for the daily cleaning, upkeep, and basic maintenance of Tribal Government buildings and facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role may include additional duties as needed to support departmental goals and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities
- Set up rooms for scheduled activities
- Operate and maintain custodial equipment safely
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels
- Report maintenance issues to supervisor
- Dispose of waste according to policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year experience in custodial/housekeeping position preferred.
- Six (6) months’ experience in custodial/housekeeping field in an office setting preferred.
- Must have an insurable driving record according to the Tribal Insurance guidelines.
- Ability to work odd and irregular hours, as needed.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license and insurable driving record according to Tribal insurance guidelines.
- Must complete the required criminal and character background check.
- Ability to travel and participate in required training, leadership development, and other events.
- Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of this position adequately and successfully.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Flexible to work varied hours and travel as needed
- Able to complete tasks and follow through
- Accountable with strong communication skills
