Executive Assistant to the Co-Chief Executive Officer / Chief Investment Officer
The Executive Assistant will provide sophisticated, high-level administrative and operational support to the Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer. This individual will serve as a trusted business partner, managing complex day-to-day priorities, optimizing executive efficiency, and ensuring seamless coordination across a fast-paced and growing organization.
This role requires sound judgment, exceptional organizational ability, and a high degree of professionalism and discretion. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing executive scheduling and communications, coordinating meetings and travel, supporting internal planning efforts, and helping drive follow-through on key initiatives and commitments. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of anticipating needs before they arise.
In addition to traditional executive support responsibilities, this individual will have exposure to strategic and cross-functional initiatives led by the Co-CEO / CIO, including projects related to acquisitions, asset management, investor relations, and other business priorities. This position is based at the company’s headquarters in Crofton, Maryland.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Support & Calendar Management
- Manage a complex and dynamic calendar for the Co-CEO / CIO, including scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments, and prioritizing competing demands on executive time
- Oversee and help manage incoming communications, including monitoring portions of the executive inbox and ensuring timely follow-up on priority matters
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas, organizing materials, and confirming logistics
- Arrange detailed travel plans, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries
- Prepare, track, and reconcile expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Monitor action items, deadlines, and executive commitments to ensure strong follow-through and accountability
Communication & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as a key liaison between the Co-CEO / CIO and internal teams, helping facilitate communication and alignment across the organization
- Support the preparation of presentations, briefing materials, and other documents for internal meetings and external engagements
- Assist in organizing leadership meetings, documenting key discussion points, and tracking follow-up actions
- Provide administrative and coordination support for company-wide initiatives, leadership activities, and human capital efforts, including internal events and team gatherings
Culture, Engagement & Internal Support
- Support leadership in recognizing employee accomplishments and fostering strong internal relationships across the company
- Assist with the planning and coordination of occasional internal events, leadership offsites, and company gatherings as needed
Special Projects & Strategic Support
- Provide ad hoc support on special projects and initiatives led by the Co-CEO / CIO
- Assist with coordination related to acquisitions, asset management, investor relations, and other strategic business activities as needed
- Contribute to special assignments that require strong organization, professionalism, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Associate’s degree preferred; bachelor’s degree is a plus
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably at the C-suite level
- Prior experience in real estate, investment management, private equity, or another fast-paced professional services environment is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to operate with professionalism, discretion, and independence in a high-accountability executive support role

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
- Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs and respond effectively in a fast-moving environment
- Collaborative team player who is comfortable operating with flexibility and taking on evolving responsibilities as business needs change
