Position Purpose: Sinai Chicago’s Marketing Department is responsible for the development and implementation of cohesive marketing and communications strategies. Our team works collaboratively and efficiently to promote programs, service lines, providers, and various system-wide initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator candidate works with our Communications and Marketing caregivers, as well as internal and external stakeholders in the planning, support and execution of our marketing campaigns.

Reporting to the Marketing/Digital Campaign Program Manager, the Marketing Coordinator manages day-today marketing support requests including website updates, graphic design projects, provider data maintenance, event support and content development. This is a hybrid position combing remote work with on-site staffing as required by project needs for in-person meetings, special events, photo/video shoots and other instances as necessary.

This position report to the Marketing/Digital Campaign Program Manager; does not provide supervision to staff.

Key Job Activities:

  • Supports all aspects of our advertising campaigns as directed: strategy development, budgeting, asset development and ad placement.
  • Monitors campaign performance, optimization and reporting.
  • Works collaboratively and maintains strong communication with internal stakeholders and manages relationships with external vendors/partners for project/campaign development and execution.
  • Supports planning, management and execution of social media campaigns to drive patient, caregiver, and donor engagement across Sinai Chicago social media channels.
  • Assists in tracking and evaluating marketing, advertising and social analytics to optimize reach and engagement and to determine best practices.
  • Manages and responds to marketing support requests submitted through our Marketing Portal via SharePoint. These include content development, visual design, website updates, signage requests, provider portal data maintenance and other needs as requested and directed.
  • Works to support Sinai Chicago’s IT/IS team to develop and implement other digital marketing tactics such as Salesforce Marketing Journey and SMS marketing

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar field
  • 1–3 years of digital marketing experience, including content development, campaign support/execution knowledge and Skills:
  • Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CRM knowledge (Salesforce preferred)
  • Outstanding project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once
  • Excellent people and presentation skills
  • Experience across most social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of email best practices, metrics, and KPIs
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus
  • Experience in EPIC and MEDITECH software systems preferred.
