Senior Analyst, Customer Analytics

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst, Customer Analytics in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing analytics, data science, and business strategy, turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that drive customer and campaign performance. You will work across digital channels and large-scale marketing ecosystems, helping teams understand customer behavior, optimize campaign effectiveness, and improve lifecycle engagement. The environment is highly data-driven and collaborative, requiring close interaction with marketing, product, and client teams. You will leverage advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to solve real business problems and shape strategic recommendations. Beyond analysis, you will play a key role in storytelling—translating data into compelling narratives that influence decision-making. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-impact analytics initiatives in a fast-paced, innovation-oriented setting.

Accountabilities

You will work across multiple data sources and tools to generate insights that improve customer targeting, segmentation, and lifecycle management.

  • Conduct advanced marketing analytics including campaign performance evaluation, customer segmentation, lifecycle analysis, and test design
  • Build and deploy predictive models using techniques such as regression, clustering, ANOVA, XGBoost, and other machine learning approaches
  • Perform time-series forecasting and quantitative analysis to assess marketing effectiveness and support planning decisions
  • Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI, defining key KPIs and performance metrics
  • Work with large-scale digital datasets from web, email, mobile, and advertising platforms to generate insights and recommendations
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, business-oriented insights and presentations for stakeholders and clients
  • Support data quality, validation, and model evaluation activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of outputs
Requirements

This role requires strong analytical expertise combined with hands-on experience in data science, marketing analytics, and statistical modeling. You should be comfortable working in complex data environments and translating technical results into business impact.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • 1–2+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a similar analytical role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and advanced Excel for data manipulation and modeling
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods including regression, ANOVA, clustering, and factor analysis
  • Experience building machine learning models, particularly XGBoost or similar frameworks
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or DMP tools
  • Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Looker Studio, or Power BI
  • Ability to build compelling PowerPoint presentations that translate data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work with ambiguity
  • Experience in marketing analytics or digital analytics environments is highly valued
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range: $70,000 – $75,000 CAD (based on experience and skills)
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and retirement savings plans (RRSP)
  • Paid time off and access to additional leave benefits
  • Flexible work arrangements with hybrid or remote options depending on location
  • Opportunities to work with advanced analytics tools and large-scale datasets
  • Professional development support and exposure to cutting-edge marketing analytics practices
  • Collaborative and flexible work culture with strong focus on innovation and learning
