About This Position

Position Title: Machine Operator
Cincinnati, OH
Company Vision: To be an industry expert for supplying precision machined components and assemblies to OEMs in the U.S.A.
Primary Job Duties:
• Operate one or more previously set up machines.
• Loading supplied programs.
• Run production to productivity and quality standard.
• Make adjustments and perform tool changes (Note: operator must demonstrate command of this expectation prior to making adjustments without supervision). All operators are expected to obtain this ability.
• Complete daily maintenance and 5S standards.
• Communicate work status.
• Follow policies and procedures, Vision, Values, Principles, and Philosophies.
• Maintain acceptable attendance.
• Any specifically assigned task.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
• A proven track record in operation of CNC machines.
• Must be able to use tools, equipment, and work aids, such as precision gauges and measuring instruments.
• Demonstrated competency in various materials, tooling, and processes.
• Have excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to gather information on job processes and report back to management with process improvements.
• Shop math (i.e. add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, decimals, percentages)
• Must possess blueprint reading skills, including GD&T.
• Technical School certificate/degree preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Lifting up to 50lbs, including bending, twisting, crouching, etc.
• Must be able to stand for 10 hour work shift
• Must be able to work with oils/coolants
• Must be able to work in noisy environment
