Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient referrals.
- Provide exceptional support to healthcare professionals, members and administrative staff.
- Maintain organized and accurate files.
- Handle communication with members, staff, and external stakeholders via phone and email.
- Prepare and process documentation and reports as needed.
- Oversee inventory management and order office supplies as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an office administrator or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations and EMR software is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
- While performing the duties of the job, employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, sit for long periods of time; and must be able to read, write, speak, and hear well enough to communicate. Manual dexterity is required to utilize keyboards and office equipment. Employee may occasionally be required to lift up to 20lbs to file documents, and/or store office material.
