Dispatch Specialist - BOG at My Savant AI – Bogotá

Role Overview:

The Dispatch Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing daily dispatch operations to ensure efficient pickup and delivery of shipments. This role works closely with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to assign loads, manage schedules, and resolve operational issues in real time, supporting service levels and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign and dispatch loads to carriers or drivers based on availability, routes, and operational priorities.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules to ensure on-time execution.
• Communicate load details, expectations, and changes clearly to carriers and drivers.
• Monitor dispatched loads and proactively address operational issues or changes.
• Work closely with Track & Trace, Carrier Sales, and Operations teams to ensure coverage and execution.
• Document dispatch activities, updates, and resolutions in internal systems.
• Support issue resolution related to missed pickups, delays, or capacity challenges.
• Follow established dispatch procedures, workflows, and service guidelines.

Requirements: Experience, Education & Skills

• Previous experience in customer service, dispatch, logistics operations, transportation, or operations support roles (minimum 6 months preferred).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to work with dispatch or transportation systems.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to work assigned schedules based on operational needs.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience supporting freight brokerage or transportation operations.
• Familiarity with TMS platforms, load boards, or dispatch tools.
• Experience working directly with drivers or carriers.
• Exposure to 24/7 or high-volume logistics operations.
